We are located on the West of Portsmouth and access is easy from the M27 or A27. Many staffcommute easily from Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and West Sussex either by car or bypublic transport.

This role is integral for the success of our students and so we are looking for an applicant who isdetermined to ensure that young people are well prepared for their future lives. The successfulcandidate will have previous experience of working with young people in education, youth workand/or careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG). They will be well supported toplan and implement a strategy for developing a careers programme for the school that meets all eightof the Gatsby benchmarks of good practice and prepares young people for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment.
You will be required to lead the academy’s work on meeting all of the Gatsby Benchmarks over time,thus ensuring best practice in helping students make the strong and ambitious post 16 education andcareer choices.
