What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a Careers Leader to lead the careers provision with the school. Ideally the successful candidate will be qualified to provide Independent Advice and Guidance to our young people by holding the relevant qualification – IAG Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development. However, for a suitable candidate we will provide and fund training to achieve this qualification. The successful candidate will be line managed by the Deputy Headteacher (Responsive Curriculum) and will be responsible for line managing our Careers Administrator. Bournside is the largest comprehensive 11-18 school in Gloucestershire. We are an established single academy trust with a good reputation (Ofsted ‘Good’ rating 2022), wide catchment, and a strong presence in the community. post-16 study.
Bournside is a mixed, non-denominational academy school for students aged 11 to 18. It is located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. It settled in its current location of Warden Hill in the early part of the 1970s and converted to academy status in 2011.
