Heartwood Church of England VC Primary and Nursery school is a warm, happy and friendly school. We have a child centred approach in all that we do. The staff, children and governors are keen to appoint a caretaker who will embrace our vision and values.

The post holder will play a key role in maintaining the appearance of the school site as well as site security. We are looking for someone with energy, drive and enthusiasm. An awareness of health and safety is essential for this role. We may be able to offer flexibility with timings of the hours worked around the best candidate.

We are looking for the ideal candidate who:

  • Has a good understanding of how to maintain a building, preferably experience in a school,
  • Is dedicated,
  • Is trustworthy,
  • Is reliable,

  • Has a good understanding of property management and health and safety
