Our school is looking to appoint a friendly, practical, hardworking, honest, reliable person to undertake the caretaking duties and keep our school looking lovely. This role is predominantly cleaning/maintenance based with the responsibility of unlocking and locking up.
Duties will include:
- Daily cleaning
- General upkeep and maintenance of the school and grounds to a high standard.
- Unlocking/locking up and security of the school building.
- Maintaining and following guidance to support reduction of infectious diseases.
- Liaising with the school office regarding contractors working on site/issues arising in school building.
- Moving and storing deliveries.
- Stock control and raising orders for cleaning goods/consumables.
- Health and safety checks
- Being first point of contact for out-of-hours alarm calls
The hours would be Mon-Fri from 7:00 – 9:30 am and from 2:30 – 6:00pm.
Hillside is a small and popular village primary school located in Bradwell and set on large attractive grounds. We are a welcoming and friendly school to work in, with wonderful children who are keen to learn; supportive governors and families; a committed and hardworking staff team.
