  • Catering, cleaning and site management
• Visa sponsorship: Visas cannot be sponsored
• Working pattern: Part time: 6 hours per week. Can be taken as two half days or one full day. Day/s to be flexible to suit candidate. Monday to Friday during term time. Holiday work will be required for approximately 4 days per year for decoration jobs.

• Pay scale: Grade 6, Scalepoint 9

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a reliable person who enjoys ensuring a well-maintained environment which is safe for the whole school community. The successful candidate will be required to audit and test health and safety equipment and be responsible for the maintenance of the school environment. Routine tidying, cleaning and fixing will be required as well as basic DIY such as erecting shelves, furniture etc. Outdoor duties will include gritting (where required), sweeping, maintenance of the school grounds.

The role is offered at 6 hours per week and this can be either on one full day or two half days. The day is flexible and can be suited to the candidate.

We are a small school and nursery situated in the village of Woore on the Shropshire/Cheshire/Staffordshire border. We have 3 classes and a nursery. Our grounds are extensive and include a forest school area, daily mile track, polytunnel, outdoor building and a range of playground equipment. We take children from the surrounding area including Staffordshire and Cheshire.
