What skills and experience we're looking for

As part of this role, you will;

  • Work under the general direction of the Cleaner in Charge / Cleaning Supervisor, provide cleaning and routine maintenance services necessary to meet the defined standards and qualities essential for a hygienic, healthy and safe school environment.
  • Act as an integral part of the school staff team, and as such to make a contribution to the overall aims of the school, working within agreed policies and procedures.
  • Be responsible for reporting to the Cleaner in Charge or Cleaning Supervisors any situation which potentially poses a danger to any pupil or member of staff in the school.

What the school offers its staff

The successful candidate will have;

  • No formal qualifications required but some previous cleaning experience desirable.
  • Training in basic cleaning methods.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
