What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to expand our friendly team of exam invigilators at The Castle School.

Examinations take place predominantly in May and June each year, but also during November, January and March. A number of invigilators are required for each examination and we are looking to increase our bank of available staff. We are looking for individuals who can be flexible, patient and are able to stand for periods of time. Exams are timetabled throughout the day but the majority are part- day. Invigilators must be alert and able to deal with a variety of situations. The post of examination invigilator is casual and attracts pay of £12.65 per hour plus holiday pay resulting in an hourly rate of £14.18.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, patient, demonstrate flexibility, initiative and excellent communication skills, be a team player and have strong empathy skills.
