We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Neale-Wade Academy. This is a vital role within the academy, with the successful candidate assisting in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages to pupils and staff.

The successful candidate will:

Operate basic kitchen equipment following training such as ovens and microwaves.

Be aware of health and safety, food hygiene and COSSH regulations, following these at all times.

Maintain basic records, such a food temperatures, where required.

Undertake cleaning and washing up as directed in the kitchen, serving and dining areas.

Follow statutory safeguarding guidance and the academy’s child protection policies

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday, 11:00 - 14:45 (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch)

16.25 hours per week, 39.6 weeks per year (term-time, plus 5 training days, plus 3 cleaning days)
