Catering - General Assistant (Part Time) job summary

You will work as part of our small, dedicated catering team as a Kitchen Assistant, helping to provide meals for our growing school. We are looking for a hard-working and reliable person, who is flexible and willing to deputise for the catering manager in the kitchen when required. Full induction and training and a free uniform will be provided.

We are a welcoming school with a friendly and supportive team. The children are happy, enthusiastic and well-behaved.

Benson C of E Primary School, as a member of the Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust, is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check. Online checks may also be carried out to comply with KCSIE.

Hours: 20 hours, term time only. Monday to Friday 9.30am-1.30pm

Grade: Grade 2 (£12.26 per hour – 2024-25 rate, 2025-26 rate pending)
