What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an individual who has:
- Relevant qualifications, including NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Catering, and a Basic Certificate in Food Hygiene.
- Proven experience in a senior catering position, ideally within a large-scale establishment, with the ability to manage operations within budgetary targets.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to supervise, train, and motivate a large team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of menu planning, costings, food safety regulations (HACCP and COSHH), and quality assurance procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organisational abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality and diversity, and supporting the Catholic ethos of our Trust.
- A flexible and dedicated approach to work with a focus on delivering exceptional customer care and maintaining a professional, friendly manner.
