Catering Manager job summary
Working pattern Monday - Friday 7.45 to 2.15 (6 hours per day ) 39 Weeks.
The school meals provided should be delivered to the highest standards, ensuring excellence, as the school believes the eating experience is part of our whole school experience.
Planning, preparing and presenting all food in line with Statutory Regulations and School Food Standards;
Ensuring that methods of preparation and presentation comply with currently recognised catering standards and food safety legislation;
Managing a small team, including ensuring effective Performance Management;
- Responsibility for ordering food supplies and stock control, labelling and rotation;
- Ensuring prompt service of all meals;
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multitask and organise workload
- Great communication skills. Communicating effectively with different internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent teamwork skills, including communication and prioritisation
- Experience working in professional kitchens
