What skills and experience we're looking for

Parkroyal Community School is looking to appoint a Catering Supervisor to work in our school kitchen, supervising the catering team to ensure that our in-house service meets the required standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of planning and cooking of meals, including ordering produce, and managing the budget alongside the School Business Manager.

We are looking for someone who has a range of cooking skills and knowledge of cooking techniques, experience of menu planning and understanding of nutritional standards. Working knowledge of a full range of kitchen equipment is also required, alongside a knowledge of relevant regulations.

Experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential, as is supervisory experience.

You will need to be a team player, who enjoys working within a large, busy primary school and has a desire to contribute to the development of the school.
