An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Schools Chaplain to work within a well-established partnership between Dyson Perrins Church of England Academy and the Parish of Malvern Link with Cowleigh.

This is a distinctive role which brings together school chaplaincy, pastoral support, Christian worship and community engagement. Working across the school and parish, the Chaplain will help children, young people and families flourish, providing opportunities for reflection, personal development, belonging and spiritual growth.

Our partnership has developed strong relationships across Dyson Perrins Church of England Academy, St Matthias Church of England School and Northleigh Church of England School. Through collective worship, pastoral engagement and school-based activities, connections are made with more than 1,000 children and young people each week.

Working closely with school leadership and pastoral teams, alongside parish clergy, volunteers and community partners, the Chaplain will play a key role in sustaining and developing these relationships. They will support the distinctive Christian ethos of our Church of England schools while helping to build stronger connections between schools, families, churches and the wider community.

Alongside their work in schools, the Chaplain will lead and contribute to the parish's established programme of activities for children, young people and families, helping to develop opportunities for community connection, faith exploration and participation in church life.

We are looking for a practising Christian with a strong understanding of the Anglican tradition, good pastoral and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to supporting young people from a wide range of backgrounds. The successful candidate will be comfortable participating in the worshipping life of the parish and working collaboratively with both school and church communities.

The Chaplain will be employed by Dyson Perrins Church of England Academy, with the role supported through a jointly funded partnership with the Parish of Malvern Link with Cowleigh.
