What skills and experience we're looking for

Main responsibilities include:

  • To manage all catering operations within the academy. Preparing & cooking lunch and supporting academy functions as required.
  • Ensure that the quality and presentation of meals meet the standards set by the Trust.
  • Ensure internal Academy and statutory regulations pertaining to the safe and hygienic operation of the kitchen are adhered to by all members of staff and visitors.
  • Monitoring and controlling stock levels, ensuring correct stock rotation and storage procedures are followed.
  • Manage the catering team, leading by example.
  • Providing training to the team to allow safe and efficient work. Ensuring the department delivers the required level of service at all times
