Chef Manager job summary
We are looking for a Chef Manager to join our team here at Skegby Junior Academy!
The working hours are 7am - 1pm Monday - Friday.
The successful candidate must:
- Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in catering, or a willingness to work towards it.
- Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
- Have knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and Risk Assessments.
- Have previous catering/cooking experience in education or volume catering.
- Be familiar with ordering, budgets, invoice processing, and stock control.
- Have an awareness of the Governments Healthy Eating Initiative and allergen legislation.
- Have experience of managing staff.
- Be familiar with using a Catering Software system.
