We are committed to supporting our schools to retain their unique identities while fostering a culture of collaboration and shared learning. Our Trust enables schools to focus on what matters most—providing outstanding education for every child.
With growth potentially on the horizon, this is an exciting time to join a values-driven organisation that places children’s learning and well-being at its heart.
THE ROLE
As CEO, you will lead the strategic and operational direction of the Trust, reporting to the Board of Trustees.
You will be responsible for:
Championing the Trust’s vision, values, and culture
Ensuring financial sustainability and strong governance
Empowering headteachers and staff to deliver excellence in education
Driving innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Leading the Trust’s strategic growth in a measured, ethical way
You will act as the Trust’s statutory Accounting Officer and be accountable for the effective use of public funds, regulatory compliance, and the Trust’s long-term success.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone with:
Strong organisational and administrative skills
A successful track record of strategic leadership (ideally but not essentially) within education or a complex public/charitable organisation
An understanding of governance and finance, preferably including the public/non-for-profit sector
The ability to inspire and empower others
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A commitment to inclusion, equity, and nurturing every child’s potential
It is not essential to come from a Christian faith-based background, but you must be able to support the inclusive, diverse, and distinctive ethos of all our schools, and uphold the Christian ethos of the Church of England schools. An understanding of academy trusts and school improvement would be an advantage. Strong financial literacy is essential.
WHY JOIN US?
Shape the future of a growing Trust with a strong foundation
Lead a collaborative, professional team of school and Trust leaders
Work in an environment where ambition and values go hand in hand
Competitive salary and benefits package
