Chief Executive Officer (CEO) job summary

We are looking for an exceptional candidate, with ambition to continue to grow our MAT, and to continue our journey in developing a partnership of excellent schools to deliver the best outcomes for our young people. As well as being a qualified and experienced education professional, you will have an excellent understanding of how complex multi-academy trusts operate within the ever evolving educational and political landscape. The successful applicant will: • Provide effective strategic leadership and direction • Ensure that our Trust’s financial viability is secure • Be the lead education professional for schools in our Trust • Act as a trusted and visible ambassador for our Trust • Ensure that there is an unrelenting focus on wellbeing, professional growth and equality, diversity, and inclusion for all • Ensure robust and compliant governance, risk management and safeguarding provisions The Trust Central Office is currently based within the grounds of The Priory School, Shrewsbury. You will be required to work across all Trust school sites and working from home is also supported.
