Class Teacher (0.4FTE) - KS2 job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Stowford School; a large two-form entry primary school with an onsite nursery located in Ivybridge, Devon. We have a dedicated team of staff who are always seeking to improve both themselves and the outcomes for our children. At Stowford, you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere, with a purposeful learning environment. We aim to provide happy and supportive surroundings for the children in our care and have in place a wide range of learning experiences to help and ensure the full growth and development of the child – physically, intellectually, socially and morally.

The successful candidate will be a teacher who

Is patient, caring and a good communicator

Is resourceful, calm under pressure and able to use your own initiative

Is able to work as part of a team and willing to share knowledge and expertise

and can demonstrate:

Excellent team working skills

Knowledge of Key Stage 2

Creativity in their approach to children's learning.
