St Barnabas Trust is looking to recruit an outstanding teacher to join our team. This an exciting opportunity to work within St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust at Lerryn School.
Lerryn CofE School is a small school based in the heart of the picturesque village of Lerryn. The school which is sat at the top of a small hill boasts stunning views of the river and Lerryn’s famous stepping stones. Lerryn School is an ideal location for outdoor learning and activities. The school is proud to be at the heart of the village community.
The two small mixed age classes provide a unique and personalised education for our children. All of the children are able to access the wider Trust outdoor offer which includes rock climbing, mountain booking and canoeing. The children also have the opportunity to access a yearly residential from Y2-Y6 including London, Cardiff and Beer.

We are looking for a teacher who will truly make a difference in children’s lives. This is an exciting opportunity to join a flourishing village school at the heart of the community which is part of a family of schools in St Barnabas Trust. This role is 0.8 four days per week, this is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2027. Please note: This role is essential and as such we will be interviewing as suitable applicants apply. We reserve the right to close this role early should vacancies be filled before the closing date.
