Class Teacher - 2 vacancies (1 permanent, 1 fixed term) job summary

The Governors of Blue Coat Primary School are looking to appoint two class teachers within KS2 to help us to achieve our vision of making our children “future ready”. We have both a permanent full-time vacancy and a fixed term full-time vacancy. The fixed term post is from 1st September 2022 to 31st December 2022. The candidates will need to be committed to supporting children in being curious, motivated and independent learners. You will need show the desire to always be looking to improve your own practice in order to be the best teacher possible for the children. We are looking for individuals who put the children’s needs at the heart of everything that they do within the role. You will need to be reflective, willing to try new ideas and passionate about the impact that a quality education has on young people.

Blue Coat School, founded in 1693, is a popular and successful Voluntary Aided school situated in the town of Wotton-under-Edge. Situated 10 minutes from the M5 and only a short drive from Stroud, Tetbury and Thornbury, our school is within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The school site is now 22 years old and is surrounded by the views the area is renowned for.
