Sundridge is a one form entry primary school and is maintained by the Local Authority. The school has been serving the local community of Kingstanding and Great Barr since the early 1940’s. In 1995 the school was re-built and in 1996 we moved into our purpose-built school with all modern facilities. The school is situated in secluded, pleasant grounds, and has its own sports field and an attractive play area. There are seven classes, one for each academic year, with an admission limit of thirty per class. Children are admitted into our Reception class at the beginning of the school year in which they are five, and transfer from Sundridge to secondary schools at the age of eleven. We aim to ensure that each child has a happy and successful time in our school and we are committed to working in partnership with parents in order to achieve this.
