As a Class Teacher at The Grange Primary School, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning that inspires and challenges all pupils. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress effectively, and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported to succeed.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and support achievement
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour and wellbeing
- Differentiate learning to ensure all pupils, including those with additional needs, can access the curriculum
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share best practice
Pay range:
- M1 - M6 - £32,916.00 - £45,352.00
- 32.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
- Permanent
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Strong classroom practice with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to high expectations for all pupils’ achievement and behaviour
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Skilled in assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
