What skills and experience we're looking for

At Bodriggy Academy, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher, but more importantly, the right teacher for our school community. This is a deliberately flexible opportunity: the year group and phase (KS1 or KS2) will be determined by the strengths, experience and passions of the successful candidate. We are proud of our commitment to high-quality, inclusive teaching and to building a culture where strong relationships, high expectations and a rich curriculum sit at the heart of what we do. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, contribute fully to the life of the school, and play an active role in shaping provision that enables every child to thrive—academically, socially and emotionally.

About You:

We are looking for a teacher who is above all a genuine team player: someone who contributes positively, works collaboratively and embraces the shared responsibility of whole-school improvement. You will be committed to building high-quality, authentic relationships with pupils and familes, recognising that these are the foundation for excellent learning and behaviour. We value professionals who are creative in their approach, adaptable in response to the needs of the children they teach, and resilient in the face of challenge. You will bring energy, professionalism and a reflective mindset, alongside a clear commitment to inclusive practice and high standards for all. Above all, you will share our belief that great teaching, rooted in care and ambition, can transform life chances for all.
