Class Teacher job summary

The successful candidate will be a strong classroom practitioner who is passionate about helping children to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. They will plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum, using assessment effectively to support progress and address gaps in learning.

We are looking for someone who has high expectations of behaviour, achievement and presentation, and who can create a positive, inclusive and well-organised classroom environment where children feel safe, valued and motivated.

Bushey Heath offers exciting opportunities for creative teaching and learning. Our facilities include a Digital Hub, Craft Workshop and Music Studio, which support our broad and ambitious curriculum. The successful candidate will be keen to contribute to the wider life of the school and make full use of these opportunities.

A commitment to safeguarding, teamwork and strong pastoral care is essential.
