Class Teacher job summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, nurturing every child’s potential, and contributing positively to our school community here at The Mease Spencer Academy. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, bring energy and creativity to the classroom, and share our vision of Learning Together Through Reflection.
We are looking for someone who:
- Plans enriching learning experiences, inspires curiosity and holds high aspirations for every child
- Has experience in Early Years
- A self‑motivated pro-active teacher
- Is a pioneer and an innovator, eager to try new ideas
- Reflects deeply on their practice and continually seeks improvement
- Draws on research to inform and strengthen teaching
- Is passionate about making a genuine difference to children’s lives
- Collaborates effectively and contributes positively to a team
- Is ready to take on subject leadership and make a wider impact across school
- Is flexible and willing to teach across different year groups
- Wants to be involved in all aspects of school life, for example, residentials and wider school events
