What skills and experience we're looking for
Our ideal candidate:
- Holds a good honours degree along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has sound knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Is committed to personal development
- Brings excellent knowledge of the subject, curriculum requirements and exam specifications
- Possesses strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to lesson planning and effective classroom management skills
- Has a sound understanding and commitment to the religious ethos of the school
- Is committed to raising achievement for all pupils
- Has the ability to be an excellent practitioner with successful experience as a class teacher, impacting on standards and behaviour
- Has belief in the importance of effective teamwork and a collaborative approach and is able to build supportive working relationships within our community
