What skills and experience we're looking for
Teach allocated pupils by planning their teaching to achieve progression of learning through:
- Establish positive and kind relationships with the children and staff.
- Operate at all times within the stated policies and practices of the school.
- Monitor and intervene to ensure excellent discipline in line with the behaviour policy.
- Establish effective working relationships and set a good example through their presentation and personal and professional conduct.
- Liaise effectively with parents.
- Manage other adults in the classroom to promote pupil progress.
- Identifying clear teaching objectives and specifying how they will be taught and assessed.
- Setting clear targets, building on prior attainment.
- Identifying SEN or very able pupils and adapt QFT planning and delivery
- Ensure effective teaching and best use of available time.
- Evaluate their own teaching critically to improve effectiveness.
- Encourage children to talk about their learning and develop high standards in oracy.
- Prepare and present informative reports to parents.
- Take responsibility for their own professional development and duties in relation to school policies and practices.
