We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and excellent teacher, who has a proven record of improving the quality of education within a school, with particular emphasis on EYFS. This is an exciting time for us, as we will are looking to open our pre-school in the coming academic year so if you are looking for your next challenge, we want to hear from you! Therefore this role offers an exciting opportunity incorporating Nursery and Reception-aged children.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, experienced, approachable and friendly
  • is up to date with current research around Quality First Teaching and Early Years practice (Nursery and Reception),
  • Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn to the best of their ability and reach their potential,
  • Is knowledgeable and has the skills to meet the requirements of the EYFS Framework, including a good understanding of Early Reading,
  • Has the ability to develop effective relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies in order to support pupils’ smooth transition into school
  • Is confident in leading a team, developing the vision and having the drive to move it forward
  • Able to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment adapted to suit the needs of the pupils,
  • Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.

As a church school, we are a proud member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust, alongside 32 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.
