What skills and experience we're looking for

Skills and Experience

- Experience teaching across KS1 and/or KS2, planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and promote strong progress and attainment.

- Strong commitment to inclusive practice, with experience adapting teaching to support pupils with SEND, EAL and varying learning needs to ensure every child can succeed.

- High expectations for behaviour, achievement and presentation, creating a positive, safe and purposeful learning environment where children feel valued and motivated.

- Skilled in building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, working collaboratively to support children’s academic progress and wellbeing.

- Confident in using assessment effectively to monitor progress, identify next steps and provide constructive feedback that supports pupil development.

- Experience using a range of teaching strategies and resources, including ICT, to engage learners and promote independence, curiosity and resilience.

- Reflective and enthusiastic practitioner committed to continuous professional development and improving teaching practice through collaboration and feedback.

- Secure understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and committed to promoting the welfare, safety and wellbeing of all children.

- Able to contribute positively to the wider life of the school through teamwork, pastoral support and participation in school events and initiatives.

- Passionate about providing equitable opportunities for all pupils and promoting a respectful, inclusive and ambitious school culture.
