What skills and experience we're looking for

St Michael’s CE Academy is looking to appoint a resourceful and highly effective Class Teacher to join our team to cover a member of staff on maternity leave.

What the school offers its staff

At St Michael’s we develop hard working and resilient learners who enjoy challenging themselves every day.

Our experienced and supportive teaching team have developed an engaging curriculum that enables all children to succeed. We use teaching structures that support learning and reduce workload for staff.

Before the Pandemic children from Reception to Yr6 were making more progress than national expectations.

St Michael’s is currently supporting a number of schools to improve teaching and learning. We are also leading on teaching for Mastery in Mathematics and have a specialist teacher based with us.

This type of coproduction and collaborative work has enabled all our staff to develop as teachers and leaders and offered excellent career progression
