What skills and experience we're looking for

The Headteacher and Governing Body at Moat House Primary School are looking to appoint a new teacher who is early in their career, available to start September 2023. This is a full time and permanent post.

We are looking for an inspirational class teacher who is able to both motivate and support pupils of all abilities. You will be passionate about all aspects of teaching and learning. You will be keen to develop your own knowledge and practices further and will be happy to engage in professional development opportunities. You will be a team player happy to work with experienced and supportive colleagues, in order to enable a learning experience that gives children every opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

You will be expected to:

  • Be well organised
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner, with experience ideally in KS1
  • Have high expectations for the children’s attainment, progress and behaviour
  • Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and be involved in the full life of the school
  • Be cheerful, enthusiastic and creative
  • Have a good relationship with children and parents

Moat House Primary School is a 2 form entry school, situated in the North-East of Coventry.
