Blackbrook Community Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership, seeks to appoint a teacher on a Maternity Cover basis to start in the 2027 Spring term.

Overview of the role

We are seeking an excellent, enthusiastic teacher to join our teaching staff for a Maternity cover placement ideally experienced in EYFS.  You’ll be an experienced Primary teacher delivering the foundation phase curriculum whilst planning, preparing and teaching lessons; an understanding of classroom management, curriculum knowledge and delivery of feedback is key.

Key requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Passion and commitment for inspiring through teaching and learning
  • Solid knowledge of the foundation phase in line with the relevant curriculum
  • The ability to build on and develop existing best practice knowledge
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Fixed Term position, FTE 0.8 Maternity Cover Contract for up to 1 year (with the possibility of increasing to FTE 1.0)
