Hamp Academy is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join our team on a full-time, fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting families, strengthening relationships, and helping children thrive in their learning and development.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team and teach Year 4 pupils. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the development and progress of every child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum
  • Assess, record, and report on pupil progress
  • Create a positive, caring classroom ethos
  • Maintain an attractive and ordered learning environment
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
  • Supervise Teaching Assistants and collaborate with colleagues
  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils
  • Participate in performance management and professional development
