CLASS TEACHER (MATERNITY COVER)
Cawston Grange Primary School
Cawston Grange Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027.
We are looking for a reflective practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning, and who is committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
As a Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the primary curriculum
- Support the progress and wellbeing of all pupils through high expectations and effective classroom practice
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leaders
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil development
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a dedicated and proactive classroom practitioner
- Has strong classroom management skills and high expectations for all learners
- Works well as part of a team and is willing to contribute to whole-school initiatives
- Is reflective, adaptable and committed to continuous professional development
