What skills and experience we're looking for
We are currently looking to appoint a full-time teacher to cover maternity leave to teach in our EYFS class. They will need knowledge, experience or an interest in special education and working with pupils who have complex needs. Applications are welcome from teachers with EYFS, primary or secondary experience, who are able to teach the full range of subjects for pupils at the earliest levels of learning.
At Woodlands, we have high aspirations for our pupils and keep up to date with innovative teaching strategies and technology to support our pupils to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
It is likely that the successful candidate will have recent, relevant experience of working with young people with severe learning difficulties, physical or sensory impairment, behavioural difficulties or autism. We would welcome applications from:
- experienced SEN teachers;
- teachers currently working in mainstream schools who are keen to pursue a career in special education.
