What skills and experience we're looking for

Ravensthorpe CE (VC) Junior School is a four-form entry school situated in an ethnically and religiously diverse community. We are very proud of the progress that all of our pupils make during their time with us which is evidenced in our excellent SATs results over recent years. In our Ofsted inspection (2023), we were graded Good: ‘Pupils are safe and happy at this friendly, welcoming school. Their conduct is exemplary in lessons and around school.’

Ours is a highly inclusive church school and spirituality underpins our values and culture. The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated teacher who has high expectations and the ability to ensure all pupils make good progress. We are a vibrant and happy community committed to nurturing and developing each child and member of staff to achieve their best.

We would like to appoint one fixed-term full-time teacher (until August 2026) – the post may extend beyond this date (dependent on budget). The role is suitable for ECTs.
