Additional allowances
All teachers are required to carry out the duties of a schoolteacher as set out in the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document. Teachers should also have due regard to the Teacher Standards. Teachers’ performance will be assessed against the Teacher Standards as part of the appraisal process as relevant to their role in the school.
Class Teacher job summary
We are looking for a Class Teacher who will:
• be dedicated to raising the achievement of pupils through high standards and expectations.
• have a direct impact on the quality of teaching and learning and therefore pupil achievement.
• ensure the physical and emotional well-being of all pupils in our school.
• Inspire, challenge and motivate all learners
• enthusiastic about all aspects of learning and teaching, with a strong knowledge of the national curriculum
