St Thomas Catholic Voluntary Academy is a lovely and friendly school situated in the parish of Our Lady and St Thomas of Hereford in Ilkeston. We have 227 very kind and welcoming children at the school; dedicated staff and excellent facilities.
We aim to provide an environment, which is safe, happy and nurturing, so that all our children can learn effectively. Every individual is valued and their successes are celebrated. You will be responsible for:
- Teaching a class, including planning, recording, assessing and meeting the social and learning needs of pupils
- Maintaining the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school
- Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
