What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and compassionate KS2 Class Teacher who shares our vision and values — someone who is committed to making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher with experience of working in a primary setting
- Has strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective, inclusive teaching strategies
- Creates a joyful, engaging and purposeful learning environment for all children
- Sets high expectations for achievement, progress and behaviour
- Builds nurturing and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Is reflective, resilient, and open to growing professionally
- Embraces and promotes the Christian ethos and values of our school community
You will:
- Deliver an exciting, high-quality curriculum that inspires and challenges children to be their best
- Ensure all pupils, including those with SEND and additional needs, make excellent progress
- Create a classroom culture where all learners feel safe, valued and empowered
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies to support the needs of every child
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum and wider life of the school
- Engage fully in professional development, both for your own growth and to support others
