Callington Primary School is looking to appoint a KS2 teacher; initially 0.6FTE rising to full time then requiring flexibility.

Required from September 2020, an enthusiastic, flexible teacher to cover maternity leave.

In the first instance, until October 2020 the role would have a 0.6 teaching commitment. From October, the role would be full time, but due to other staff returning from maternity leave the role may reduce again from after Easter 2021 or May 2021.

Callington Primary School is part of The Duchy Academy Trust, working closely alongside Boyton and Lewannick Primary Schools.

Approximately 400 children come to Callington and we have over 60 members of staff. There are two classes per year group and staff in these plan together. Even though Callington is a large school, it is very friendly. We find that new children settle quickly and soon love being here. Staff always try to make learning exciting; for example, we work outdoors when we can, learning is generally active and no one has time to get bored!
