Class Teacher
(Year 5/6 Class Teacher with Designated Safeguarding Lead Responsibilities)
Payscale: Main Pay Scale to UPS1 (FTE £30,000 - £43,266 per annum)
Commencing: 27th February 2024 or 15th April 2024

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
Have experience of working in Upper Key Stage 2
Have experience of working as a Designated Safeguarding Lead
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative
Be able to work flexibly and professionally
About Role
We are looking for an experienced Year 5/6 Class Teacher to join our team, working full time, Monday to Friday. The purpose of this role is to lead our Year 5/6 class. There is an additional UPS point available for undertaking the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead.
