The successful candidate with a track record of outstanding teaching across the primary phase but a passion for lower KS2 provision. We would welcome those with enthusiasm and expertise in championing foundation subjects – particularly the arts - across the primary age range.

Our new teacher will:

  • Be an inspirational teacher who can enthuse and motivate primary-aged children. (This is important to us!)
  • Have the competence and flair to inspire a creative classroom, understanding the impact that this has on attainment and personal development.
  • Be knowledgeable about the curriculum and understand a child’s learning journey from EYFS to Key Stage 2.
  • Have high expectations of all pupils’ achievements and behaviour, and the skills to build effective relationships.
  • Be organised, adaptable and well-planned, and able to show initiative and independence.
  • Be motivated, with a good sense of humour and an eagerness to learn from and support your colleagues and our community. (Also very important to us!)
  • Have excellent I.T. skills.

What the school offers its staff

In return we can offer:

  • An environment where you can learn and develop alongside an experienced team.

  • An opportunity to develop middle leadership skills and work collaboratively to achieve the priorities on the School Improvement Plan.
  • A busy, positive community where children are genuinely engaged and motivated to achieve their potential.
