Class Teacher - year group is negotiable, depending on experience job summary

We are looking to appoint a full-time class teacher from September 2026. The year group and key stage is negotiable depending on the successful candidate's experiences to date. Moulsecoomb Primary School is a fantastic school to start your teaching career, or to further develop it and move into middle and senior leadership roles within the school or wider academy trust. We have a proven track record of supporting ECTs within their induction years and beyond, with incredible training options. We welcome applications from ECTs, as well as from experienced teachers. For ECTS, we offer strong support - an experienced mentor whom you will meet weekly during dedicated release time; an excellent training programme using materials from the ECF; regular observations of experienced colleagues, including visits to other schools. For experienced teachers, we offer subject specific training, access to NPQs and professional coaching to support wellbeing and workload. In addition, we have a cluster of schools within the Brighton and Hove area where staff work collaboratively to share ideas and reduce workload. Please call the school office on 01273 605700 to arrange a tour of the school. This can be accommodated during school hours, or after 3:30pm, if suitable for working teachers. Due to the short time frame before the closing date, if you wish to submit your application form ahead of arranging a tour, for speed and ease, then we may be able to accommodate tours after the closing date or on interview days, should you successfully be shortlisted.

Please note that we can offer a permanent contract to a successful candidate, and also possibly a fixed term contract for other successful candidates.
