We are looking for someone who is engaging and versatile. You will be committed to ensuring every individual child receives the care, support and guidance they need to thrive and be the best they can be. We’re also looking for the following:
- Good literacy and numeracy skills

- Have a clear understanding of outstanding teaching and learning across the primary phase, particularly in Key Stage two
- Have the drive to lead areas of school improvement, in order to make a substantial contribution to the school’s future development
- Be able to successfully challenge and address barriers which potentially stand in the way of pupil progress
- Work in partnership with the governing body, parents and the local community to develop continuous improvement within the school

Further details about the role
Boothferry Primary School wishes to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teacher in Year 4 to start in January 2024 to cover maternity leave. We are looking for a highly motivated teacher who is passionate about teaching and committed to school improvement. You must share our vision for continual and sustained improvement and help to build and develop on the school’s successes. Boothferry is at the heart of the community therefore the successful candidate must be able to promote the positive and caring ethos of the school.
