What skills and experience we're looking for
At Harefield Primary school we are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and reflective Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to pupils within their class, ensuring that every child is supported, challenged and inspired to achieve their full potential.
The Class Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum, assess and monitor pupil progress effectively, and adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners. They will create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment, fostering positive behaviour and strong relationships with pupils.
The role requires strong collaboration with colleagues, support staff and parents/carers, as well as a commitment to safeguarding, professional development and contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
We are seeking a professional individual who:
- Has a commitment to their quality of teaching and learning and improving educational outcomes for all pupils.
- Is passionate, has high expectations of achievement and behaviour, and can make a real difference to the lives of their pupils.
- Has excellent standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys working as part of a team and can build strong relationships with the many stakeholders in a school.
