What skills and experience we're looking for

The role

We are seeking a teacher who can inspire learning and raise achievement across the primary phase.

You will:

  • Deliver high quality teaching that leads to strong pupil progress
  • Use assessment effectively to identify gaps and move learning forward
  • Provide excellent provision for all pupils including those with additional needs
  • Create a classroom where expectations are high and every child feels valued
  • Contribute to a creative and engaging curriculum

The year group for this role has not been decided, however it is likely to be in KS2.

Who we are looking for

You will:

  • Hold QTS and a relevant degree or PGCE
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a range of strategies
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and build positive relationships with ease
  • Have high standards and be passionate about raising achievement for every child
  • Understand how to use data to inform teaching
  • Demonstrate high expectations of behaviour and learning
  • Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
