We are looking for two dedicated, reliable individuals to help keep our school clean, safe and welcoming for our children, staff and wider community. Hours of work between 3pm and 5.30pm, 2 hours per day, start time to be agreed, term time only, with the opportunity for additional hours during school holidays.
Magdalen Gates Primary is a School of Sanctuary serving a diverse and vibrant part of Norwich. Despite being in the city, our school has a warm, village-like feel with a friendly, personal atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
We are seeking cleaners who are:
- reliable, with good timekeeping
- committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for children
- adaptable and able to support their team when needed
- able to follow and comply with health and safety requirements
- willing to undertake training to ensure full compliance with standards
Main duties and responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- daily cleaning tasks such as emptying bins, wiping desks, vacuuming, mopping, buffing, sanitising surfaces and cleaning toilet areas
- general cleaning tasks as required
- restocking materials such as toilet paper, paper towels and soap
- ensuring all cleaning equipment is kept clean, safe and in good working order
