Cleaner job summary

George Pindar School is seeking to appoint two dedicated and reliable Cleaners to join our facilities team on a full-year basis for 15 hours per week.

As an inclusive 11-16 secondary school in Scarborough, we take pride in fostering a safe, welcoming environment where our students can strive for success. This role plays a key part in supporting our school community by delivering a high-quality, effective cleaning service. Working as part of the wider caretaking and cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the school for staff, students, and visitors.

The post involves using standard cleaning equipment and handling chemical products. Full personal protective equipment (PPE) and appropriate safety guidance will be provided.
