Tyne and Wear Learning Trust are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Cleaner to join their highly successful school, Barnwell Primary Academy, working 10 hours per week 3.30 - 5.30 pm, Monday - Friday.
At Barnwell Primary Academy, we recognise the important contribution our support staff make to the smooth running of the school. Maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment is essential to the wellbeing of our pupils, staff and visitors, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in ensuring our school is maintained to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, dependable and takes satisfaction in producing high-quality work. The successful candidate will work as part of our school team, helping to ensure that all areas of the school are clean, safe and ready for pupils and staff each day.
The ideal candidate will:
- Take pride in their work and have a good eye for detail
- Be dependable, punctual and able to work independently
- Have previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school, commercial or similar environment
- Be willing to work as part of a team and support colleagues when required
- Have a positive and flexible approach to their work
