We are looking for a Cleaner to join our site team at Neale-Wade Academy, a secondary and sixth form academy in March, Cambridgeshire. This is an important role at the heart of the school, helping to ensure pupils, staff and visitors benefit from a clean, safe and welcoming environment every day. Working as part of a supportive team, the successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards across the academy, contribute to the smooth running of the site, and share our commitment to creating the best possible conditions for young people to learn, grow and succeed.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across academy buildings, including classrooms, toilets and communal areas.
- Carry out routine and scheduled cleaning tasks, including specialist cleaning during academy closure periods.
- Prepare rooms and workspaces for daily use, meetings and school activities.
- Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies, safely store equipment and report low stock levels.
- Follow health and safety procedures, report hazards or equipment faults, and help maintain a safe environment for all site users.
